Box Office FAQ

Where do I purchase tickets?
All tickets are sold through VBO (Virtual Box Office). Tickets may be purchased online through our website (which you are currently visiting). We recommend creating a VBO account when you make your purchase in order to manage your tickets.

Are tickets available at the door?
If a performance is not sold out, limited tickets may be available at the door. Advance purchase is strongly recommended.

Do children need tickets?
Yes. All patrons need a ticket, with the exception of children ages 2 and under, who attend for FREE.

What ages are your shows best for?
Our main stage shows are curated for ages 2+, although each production is designed for a specific age range. Please refer to the individual show page for recommended ages to ensure the best experience for your child.

What time does the house open?
We do our best to open the theatre for seating 30 minutes prior to each performance.

What is your seating policy?
For the 2025–2026 season, seating is general admission. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis once the house opens. FLEX PASS holders may request reserved seats by emailing info@playtheatreco.org at least 24 hours before your performance.

Can I exchange my tickets?
Yes! Ticket exchanges can be made:

  • Online through your VBO account, or

  • By contacting the box office at info@playtheatreco.org

All ticket sales are final; refunds are not available.

What are Flex Passes and how do they work?

Please see our FLEX PASS page
Flex Passes may be redeemed for single tickets only and cannot be used for “Double the Fun” ticket packages.

Are snacks or merchandise available?

Can we bring food or drinks into the theatre?
Food and beverages are not permitted inside the theatre, with the exception of water.

Is there anything to do before the show?
Yes! Each production features a themed craft activity available in the lobby before the show and at intermission—perfect for little ones (and adults!) to enjoy.

What if my child needs a break during the performance?
We understand that young audiences may need movement or breaks. You’re always welcome to step out and re-enter at an appropriate time with help from our house staff.
